IMCO General Construction, a Ferndale, WA-based civil construction company is seeking a safety professional to lead industrial safety efforts at a Mine Remediation/Wastewater Treatment Plant located near Holden Village, a remote area Northwest of Lake Chelan in central Washington.rnrnIMCO has been contracted to develop and implement a 17-element risk-based safety program for the long-term operations and maintenance phase. This remote wilderness industrial site has unique hazards and risks including avalanches, wildfires, and medical emergency response considerations.rnrnThis is a direct hire position. Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of industrial health and safety experience reduced to 5 years with possession of job-related Bachelor's degree.
Job Requirements
Approximately 50% travel required. Working schedule is five days onsite and 5 days offsite in an IMCO office. Onsite work is near Lake Chelan. Offsite work will be conducted at IMCO’s corporate office in Ferndale, Washington, or the satellite office in Moses Lake, Washington (remote work may be available). Boat rides from Fields Point Landing, living accommodations, and meals are provided during onsite work..
